Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—while following established procedures.
• Evaluate test results for precision, address any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Document procedures meticulously, train new staff or students, and help uphold the quality standards of the laboratory.
• Ensure a safe and clean workspace while adhering to regulatory guidelines and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health qualification plus ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year of employment.
• Maintain your certification for the duration of your employment.
