Description – What You'll Undertake

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory analyses—such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—while adhering to established protocols.
• Review results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and conduct routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all standard operating procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain laboratory quality assurance.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be secured within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your tenure is required.
