Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough assessments of patients, ordering tests, and crafting tailored treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians or operating independently as your credentials allow
• Educating patients and their families on preventive measures, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatment options in accordance with the scope of practice

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire within 90 days)
