Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Surgical Technician, under the direct supervision of a registered nurse for selected tasks in the administration of patient care within the operating room suite, you will prepare for surgical procedures and arranges sterile set-up of instrument table. • You will assist surgeons by passing instruments, medications, supplies, holding retractors, and anticipating surgeons' needs during the course of surgery.
• You will assist in maintaining safe and aseptic environment for all patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from high school or equivalent program
• Completion of Surgical Technologist course required
• One- Two years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care facility preferred
• Current BCLS certification required.
