Role Overview

We are in search of an empathetic and skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding imaging team. Your role will consist of performing diagnostic imaging utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, working alongside a cooperative team of professionals dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care, and ensuring that patients feel safe and informed throughout their imaging experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and abdominal imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort during procedures, providing clear communication and compassion throughout
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure precise and timely diagnostic outcomes
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, addressing malfunctions promptly and effectively
• Keep accurate records of procedures and ensure documentation is appropriately managed within our electronic medical records system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education and Experience Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Preferably attained a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Credentials Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
