Advanced Practice Provider - Maternal Fetal Medicine

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to meet the growing demand at FPN Maternal Fetal Medicine and Genetics Crown Point in Crown Point, Indiana. Our office is located at the at Franciscan Health Crown Point

Interested candidate will join a consultative-only practice with established physicians offering services such as high-risk pregnancy consultation, routine and detailed fetal anatomic survey, genetic counseling, prenatal screening and fetal diagnostic testing.

WHAT WE NEED:

Candidate will have experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine and/or OB/GYN. Candidate is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be team-oriented. The Advanced Practice Provider will need to work collaboratively with physicians to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Candidate will also have a desire to develop strong ties with patients and the community in which they serve.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM

• No Call Expectation

• Average patient volume: 16 per day

• Level 3 NICU

• Assist with Procedures:

  • Amniocentesis

  • Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)

  • Percutaneous Umbilical Cord Blood Sampling (PUBS)

  • Intrauterine Transfusion

  • Cerclage

• On-site Equipment:

  • GE Voluson E10 Ultrasound

  • Viewpoint Software

  • EPIC EMR

• Genetic Counselor on staff

• Sonographers on staff

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree Required

• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) - Required - or

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required

• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Required
