Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and design personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to optimize care outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and at-home exercise regimes
• Keep detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are a plus but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is highly preferred
