Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, initiating necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing urgent, episodic, or chronic health issues either collaboratively with physicians or autonomously (subject to credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and their families regarding preventive measures and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Involvement in patient follow-up and management of chronic conditions
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care
• Maintaining meticulous records within electronic medical systems (EMR)

Education Needed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program

Certifications Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Pennsylvania
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to secure them within 90 days)
