Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations at each step
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions in a timely manner
• Accurately document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
