Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Ultrasound Technologist to become a pivotal part of our imaging team. You will harness advanced ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic examinations, work hand-in-hand with a supportive group of clinicians, and bring reassurance to patients by ensuring timely, high-quality imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Perform diverse ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Assure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, articulating each step with empathy and clarity
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce top-notch diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately while managing patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Sound technical skills in sonographic imaging and an understanding of patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
