Description – What You Will Accomplish

• Assess results for precision, troubleshoot inaccuracies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Aid in specimen collection and prepare samples for subsequent testing as needed.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new staff and students, and help maintain the lab's quality standards.
• Sustain a safe, clean working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of joining.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment to ensure quality standards.
