As a Specialty Pharmacist at our Las Vegas Mail Service Pharmacy, you'll play a key role in our mission to make health care more personal, convenient, and affordable.

As a Pharmacist in the Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, you will ensure the correct medication is appropriately picked, checked, packed, and shipped to patients and perform all duties associated with the dispensing of pharmaceuticals. You will provide customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, and provide direction and guidance to supporting staff. You will be cross-trained on other functions within the facility as assigned. Successful incumbents in this role are knowledgeable and compliant with all pharmacy regulations and corporate policies, work instructions and procedures. Availability and Shift Details

• Must be available during our normal operating hours

• Monday-Friday rotating schedule between the hours of 5:00 AM - 5:30 PM

• May include an occasional late shift (as late as 9:00 PM)

• This role follows a weekly shift rotation

• Includes a weekend on-call approximately once per month

Experience

• Six months of experience as a pharmacist

• Licensed pharmacist in Nevada

• Experience in mail order, hospital, or retail pharmacy preferred

• Prefer six months of work experience in a pick/pack/ship environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Licensed Pharmacist in California

• Ability to obtain and maintain non-resident pharmacist licensure in at least 4 other states

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy

• Pharm D preferred

• Current Pharmacist License in good standing, based on applicable state licensing requirements

Physical Requirements

• Stand for the duration of the shift (8-10 hours)

• Repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs for the duration of the shift

• Occasionally lift up to 30-50 lbs during a shift

• Reach for and grasp objects at various heights

• Use a keyboard and operate departmental machinery

• Work regularly near moving machinery (conveyor belts)

• Work in a moderate-noise environment

• Wear protective clothing or equipment as required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$55.53 - $93.08

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
