Position Overview

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and specialized small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures, clearly communicating each step with empathy
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical record system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging protocols and best practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Relevant Certifications

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a recognized equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification recommended
