Position Overview

We are eager to welcome a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to our accomplished imaging team passionate about delivering top-notch care. You'll utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a supportive group of healthcare professionals, and provide invaluable insights that ease patient anxieties through prompt and precise imaging.

Core Responsibilities Include

• Executing various ultrasound exams such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensuring the utmost comfort and safety of patients during their procedures, effectively communicating each step with kindness
• Working closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are provided
• Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, reporting any technical issues immediately
• Documenting procedures accurately and maintaining patient records within our electronic medical systems
• Staying updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and techniques

Education and Credential Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
