Position Highlights:
- Position: Registered Nurse, Oncology
- Location: Kellogg Cancer Center - Highland Park, IL
- Full Time | 40 hours/week
- Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-6pm (10 hour shifts)
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients in the Kellogg Cancer Center
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Administer chemotherapy, medications and blood products
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
- Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
- Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred
- Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association, required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
- Experience: Oncology and/or Outpatient Infusion Center experience preferred .
