Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during all procedures by elucidating each phase with empathy and clarity
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic output
• Effectively manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Thoroughly document imaging procedures and keep patient records up-to-date in our electronic medical system
• Commit to continuous learning to stay abreast of the latest developments in ultrasound technology and techniques

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging practices and patient positioning techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
