Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a valuable member of our expanding imaging team. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform indispensable diagnostic examinations, engage with a compassionate team of healthcare professionals, and provide reassurance to patients through prompt and precise imaging results.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, articulating each phase with empathy and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to deliver exceptional diagnostic imagery
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Keep updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and technologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Valid certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
