Position Overview

We are on the lookout for an empathetic and skilled Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our expanding imaging team which focuses on delivering outstanding patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Execute a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and specialized small part imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging processes, explaining each step with compassion and clear communication.
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring providers to deliver high-quality diagnostic imagery.
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging devices, addressing any technical issues swiftly.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical records system.
• Continuously update knowledge of innovations in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
