Mammography Technologist

MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our client's dedicated imaging team in Texas. In this important role, you will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. Your expertise will be critical in detecting breast abnormalities and supporting early diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mammography exams in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and sanitized.
Adhere to strict quality control standards and follow infection control protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of images.
Educate patients about the procedure and address any questions or concerns they may have.
Accurately document patient information and imaging results.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification in Mammography (M) required.
Valid Texas state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
BLS certification required prior to the start date.
Previous experience in mammography preferred.
Strong knowledge of mammography equipment, techniques, and safety standards.
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
