Your Vital Role

• Conduct both standard and complex clinical laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, among others—following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, address any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help uphold rigorous lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
