Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures, communicating each step with empathy and understanding
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
