Position Overview

• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during scanning sessions, reassuring and guiding patients through the process with kindness and understanding
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic imagery
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions swiftly
• Thoroughly document each procedure and keep patient records updated in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Required

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
