What You'll Do

Set up and maintain sterile fields for a wide variety of surgical procedures.
Anticipate surgeon and team needs, ensuring the right instruments and supplies are on hand.
Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts to safeguard patient safety.
Handle specimens properly and ensure they are labeled and processed according to policy.
Demonstrate proper use and care of surgical instruments, sutures, and stapling devices.
Assist in training new staff, students, and team members.
Respond promptly and professionally in emergency situations.
Support cardiovascular cases as needed (experience preferred but not required).
Maintain compliance with AORN standards and hospital policies.

What You'll Bring

Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
Current Washington State Surgical Technologist license.
National Certification by AST (or ability to obtain within one year).
BLS certification (current or obtained upon hire).
Basic computer literacy for EMR and documentation.
A calm, confident presence in high-stakes situations.
