Registered Nurse - Pediatric and Infant Special Care Unit - Night Shift

Position Highlights:

Position: Per Diem, Registered Nurse for Pediatric and Infant Special Care Units
Location: Evanston and Highland Park Hospitals
Full Time/Part Time: Per Diem
Hours: Night shift 2300-0730 and 1900-0730; weekend and holiday requirements per level agreement
Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule

Required Travel: Evanston and Highland Park

What you will do:

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for Pediatric and ISCU patients
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
Certification: BLS/ ACLS/PALS / NRP Certification for the Healthcare Provider required. (AHA)
Experience: A minimum two years of recent acute care clinical experience in Pediatrics and Levell III Infant Special Care required
Unique or Preferred Skills: Pediatric and Level III Infant Special Care
