Healthcare Support is seeking a local contract Sterile Processing Technician for a local contract job in Elmhurst, Illinois.

The Sterile Processing Coordinator oversees daily SPD operations, ensuring safe workflows, regulatory compliance, and high-quality instrument reprocessing. This role supervises technicians, manages shift assignments, monitors decontam/assembly/sterilization processes, and supports training, quality audits, equipment maintenance, and inventory needs. Works closely with leadership and clinical teams to ensure timely instrument availability and a safe, efficient work environment.

Requirements:

3+ yrs sterile processing experience
2+ yrs supervisory/lead experience
CRCST required (CIS/CHL preferred)
Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of AAMI, infection control and OSHA standards

Education: HS diploma required; degree preferred.
