JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented and experienced Specialty Pharmacist to join our dynamic team as a Senior Specialty Pharmacy Consultant. In this role, you will leverage your program management expertise and lead strategic initiatives for our specialty pharmacy services. You will be a vital resource for both clinical and operational programs, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
You will play a key role in the implementation and continuous improvement of specialty pharmacy programs, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our organization and our clients. This position requires a blend of clinical knowledge and business insight to effectively manage and report on program performance.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on specialty pharmacy programs and workflows. Lead project teams and manage processes, people, and technology to achieve operational goals.
- Act as a change agent to foster alignment among partners with specialty pharmacy strategies and business objectives, ensuring we meet program deliverables efficiently.
- Monitor and analyze pharmacy data related to programs, offering recommendations for improvements and reporting on program effectiveness.
- Evaluate existing specialty pharmacy programs for opportunities to enhance and propose new program designs. Collaborate within the organization to pursue viable opportunities.
- Contribute to the creation of presentations and training materials that accurately reflect program timelines and objectives. Present findings and act as a pharmacy expert and advisor.
- Work closely with Pharmacy Sales, Operations, and other relevant teams to translate program builds into market demand and evaluate the operational impact of collaborations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
Required
- 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
- 1 year of experience in program leadership or project management.
Preferred
- Completion of an accredited PGY-1 Managed Care Pharmacy Residency Program.
- Progressive experience in clinical pharmacy strategy and specialty pharmacy program development.

- Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS).

PHYSICAL, MENTAL DEMANDS and WORKING CONDITIONS
Position Type: Office or Remote-based
You may be required to teach or train others on occasion, with minimal travel from the office to various work sites. No extensive physical work is required.
Pay Range Minimum: $78,900.00
Pay Range Maximum: $147,500.00
Base pay is determined by various factors including candidate qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
