Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Oncology team. In this role, you will demonstrate autonomy in practice and effectively manage various clinical situations while providing exceptional care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

Utilize the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided comprehensively.
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and caregivers; identify issues and resources effectively.
Manage clinical situations by making appropriate assignments and delegating tasks to other care providers.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License in the state of employment, BLS certification, and PALS certification (obtained within the specified grace period).

Position Requirements:

Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
Participate in a residency program or specific orientation for newly licensed RNs.
Complete all annual competency verification requirements.

Work Schedule: Multiple shifts available.
