Job Description:
Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is expanding its Imaging Institute by introducing new services and locations to enhance patient care. We are actively seeking both part-time and full-time Nuclear Medicine Radiologists to join our esteemed team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpreting imaging results while collaborating with referring physicians and delivering accurate, timely reports.
Teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows, contributing to their training and development.
Engaging in multidisciplinary conferences and providing weekend shift coverage as needed.
Compensation Overview:
Salary Range: $420,000 - $1,100,000
Base salary complemented by additional compensation for weekend calls, value-based care, academic productivity, and clinical engagement.
Achievable wRVU requirements with opportunities for incentives for exceeding targets.
Expected RVU range based on experience: 6,510 - 8,261.
Eligibility for signing and starting bonuses.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Extensive expertise in molecular imaging and radiotheranostics, including general nuclear medicine, radioisotope therapy, and hybrid imaging techniques.
Certification by ABR or ABNM.
Completion of an ACGME-approved Radiology Residency and Nuclear Medicine Fellowship.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology.
Participation in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility is required.
Opportunities for involvement in residency and medical student training programs for on-site/hybrid positions.
Active licensing in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment.
