Position Overview

We are eager to welcome an accomplished and empathetic Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to our dedicated team of imaging experts committed to providing superior care. Utilizing the latest ultrasound technologies, you'll conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures, work alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals, and help alleviate the worries of patients with accurate and timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, ensuring clarity and compassion in your explanations
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Keep precise documentation of procedures and patient records within our electronic medical systems
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• A CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
