Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety by providing clear and compassionate explanations throughout procedures
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-tier diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any technical issues as necessary
• Document procedures accurately and maintain meticulous patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar discipline
• Successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
