Description – What You'll Do

• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Document procedures meticulously, guide new personnel or students, and assist in maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe laboratory environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year from hire date.
• Continuous maintenance of current certification throughout the duration of employment.
