Description – What You Will Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory testing—including chemistry, hematology, and immunology—following established protocols to ensure the highest quality.
• Examine results for precision, diagnose errors, and perform regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for necessary testing.
• Keep detailed records of all procedures, mentor new staff and students, and maintain quality standards within the laboratory.
• Uphold a maintained, safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, accompanied by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) acquired within one year of employment.
• Keep current certification throughout your tenure.
