NORTH CENTRAL SURGICAL CENTER IS SEEKING A QUALIFIED CLINICAL DIRECTOR OF THE POST-SURGICAL UNIT (PSU).

• $15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

The Post-Surgical Unit Clinical Director is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals. The supervisor helps identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Clinical Director works under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer. The Clinical Director identifies and remedies through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. The Clinical Director works with Chief Nursing Officer and Senior Management in meeting Facility goals and takes patient assignments as needed to meet census demands and fluctuations.

Required Skills

• Graduate of professional school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in Medical/Surgical or Critical Care nursing.
• Current Texas RN License,
• BLS,
• Must attain ACLS, and PALS by 90 days of hire. Knowledge of TDSHS, CMS and Joint Commission standards.
• Ability to make independent sound nursing and management decisions.
• Liaison between staff and administration.
