UF Health Brownwood FSED is a modern, 25,000-square-foot facility featuring state-of-the-art trauma bays, the latest in diagnostic imaging technology including CT and X-ray, and laboratory and respiratory therapy services. The emergency department offers quality care from seasoned healthcare experts 24 hours a day.

UF Health Brownwood FSED: 24,000 annual visits

Department Information

24/7 emergency care with X-ray, ultrasound, full lab, respiratory therapist, and CT available
EMR: EPIC
28 beds including 2 trauma bays
12-hour shifts
APC coverage

What We're Looking For

PRN/part-time/full-time
Board certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or board certified in family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with current emergency medicine experience and valid ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
Completion of an accredited residency program is required
