Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a compassionate and adept Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging specialists dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform essential diagnostic procedures, work collaboratively with a supportive team of healthcare professionals, and help reassure patients through timely and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, offering clear and compassionate explanations throughout
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-tier diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging machinery, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Accurately document procedures while maintaining patient records within our electronic medical records system
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current registration from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Adeptness to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
