Job Responsibilities

• Execute both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure result integrity by analyzing outcomes for accuracy, troubleshooting any discrepancies, and conducting preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Meticulously document processes, assist with training new hires or students, and uphold rigorous lab quality standards.
• Foster a safe and clean working environment while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, plus ASCP/AMT certification preparations.

Credentials

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain valid certification throughout your tenure with us.
