Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Perform a wide array of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work in close conjunction with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest standards of diagnostic imaging
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Stay updated with emerging ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
