Position Summary
The Mental Health Tech provides direct care to children, adolescents and adult patients with psychiatric disorders, to ensure the safety and well being of the patients. MHTs have the primary responsibility for ensuring the patient's safety on the unit.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Two years experience working in a psychiatric setting
- Handle with Crare, Verbal De-escalation and CPR training (May be acquired after hire)
- Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Team work
- Hours: Day Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM (Rotating Weekends Required) / Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Rotating Weekends Required)
