Position Overview

We're looking for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our dynamic team of imaging professionals committed to delivering superior patient care. Using advanced ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic procedures and collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals to help alleviate patient concerns through prompt and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure comfort and safety for patients during all procedures, clearly explaining each step to ease their mind
• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to provide stellar diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within our electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
