Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining each step of the process
• Work closely with radiologists and referring practitioners to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any technical issues as they arise
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
