Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, from abdominal and obstetric to gynecological and vascular imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, ensuring each step is communicated with empathy and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to achieve high-quality diagnostic outputs
• Operate and upkeep imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Meticulously document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records in our electronic medical records system
• Stay well-informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and protocols

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Participation in a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly desired

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a valid equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
