Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests across multiple disciplines-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test outcomes for accuracy, swiftly resolve discrepancies, and manage preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Occasionally assist in specimen collection and ensure proper preparation of samples for analysis.
• Meticulously document procedures, mentor new hires or students, and maintain high quality standards within the lab.
• Promote a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree with eligibility for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within one year of employment.
• Continued certification maintenance is required throughout your tenure.
