Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be obtained within one year of beginning employment.
• Continued maintenance of current certification throughout the duration of employment is essential.
