Must have:

Advanced skills needed: Hemodynamic and ventilator management

Procedures performed on unit: Chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia; ECMO, arterial line and central line placement

Certifications Required:

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

(preferred but not required- TNCC)

Unit Specifics:Number of Beds : 32Patient Ratios :2:1Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit Secretary 0730-0000Type of equipment :Documentation system: MeditechScheduling requirements: 3 12 hour shifts/ Every other weekend (or 4 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule period)Floating policy: To like units: NSICU, Cardiac Telemetry units (4 North and 4 Central) Progressive Care Unit (4 West), Burn Unit, ED Inpatient Overflow, other units as per overall hospital needsPatient Experience requirements: 2 years ICU experience, prefer ICU experienceHospital Specifics-Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
